The largest coaching credential body in the world (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximise their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.
We all have goals we want to reach, challenges we’re striving to overcome and times when we feel stuck. Partnering with a coach can change your life, setting you on a path to greater personal and professional fulfilment.

A coach believes that the client already has all the inner resources needed to tackle the challenge that is facing right now. Coaching focuses more on the present and the future, working towards a goal or an outcome that the client would like to achieve.
How coaching is different from therapy and counselling is that coaches will not diagnose or work in depth with mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, past trauma and any other underlying psychological issues that might need medical attention.
As everyone has a different way of making things work, coaching won’t work for everyone. If you are not willing to work on yourself, cannot trust anyone to work with you, or if you prefer to be where you’re right now and are not ready for the change, you will feel coaching might not be right for you.
I have worked with different coaches, so I know how it feels to find the right one for you. I would recommend you to start working with a coach first. Then check whether you both are aligned in a way to work together. Let me tell you one thing, though. The coaching journey is not always up, and you won’t feel 100% motivated even in the journey. As human beings, we have unforeseen challenges and turning points. Be prepared for the journey ahead that won’t be 100% like you had imagined. But after a journey with the right coach for you, you will feel worthy that you had walked that path.

I feel coaching is a partnership where the coach and the client work together based on the client’s agenda. As a professional coach, I walk alongside my clients and am a cheerleader for them when they need my support. As we all have different personalities, I always have a curious state of mind about how to work with different people.
E.g., the time taken to achieve a goal, the strength and mindset needed to overcome a challenge/barrier. Every coaching package and session is tailored to fit the individual’s needs. The coaching sessions are fully confidential without the client’s consent to share in the public space.
I usually offer a 45 mins Discovery call session to see if we are the right fit to work together. In that brief session, we can discuss what coaching looks like if we work together. Like every partnership, we will only know whether there is a possibility to work together after our first encounter. There is no string attached to our first meeting. If everything turns out right, we can start our coaching sessions immediately.
